La Jolla 10K

Looking for the best San Diego 10K? We’ve designed this course for runners who want the beauty of the Pacific without the legendary Torrey Pines climb. By starting exactly where the Half Marathon climbing ends, 10K runners enjoy the most beautiful, coastal miles of the race.

San Diego 10K: Best of the Coast. None of the Hill.

If you’ve been searching for San Diego running races that offer world-class scenery without the extreme elevation, this is your race.

  • Skip the Hill: The La Jolla 10K course bypasses the 400ft climb. You start at the top of the mesa and finish at the Cove.

  • The Best of San Diego 10Ks: While other 10K San Diego races take you through parking lots, we take you through the heart of La Jolla Shores and along the Pacific coastline.

  • Point-to-Point Prestige: Like the La Jolla Half Marathon, this is a beautiful point-to-point journey ending at the historic La Jolla Cove.

La Jolla 10K: Course Map & Details

Course Overview

Experience the best of the coast by joining the inaugural La Jolla 10K. Bypassing the legendary Torrey Pines hill, this course begins at the summit of the mesa to offer a fast, net-downhill journey. Runners follow the final 6.2 miles of the La Jolla Half Marathon route through the scenic residential streets of La Jolla Shores. Because the race starts exactly where the climbing ends, you get to enjoy the Pacific coastline on fresh legs. Our point-to-point course is perfect for anyone searching for San Diego running races with a world-class finish at La Jolla Cove.
