2. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS AND RACE REGISTRATION

We use third-party services to facilitate our event, including race registration and payment processing.

Specifically, we use RunSignUp for participant registration and payment collection. When you click to register for the La Jolla Half Marathon, 10K, or Shores 5K, you will be redirected away from our Site to the RunSignUp platform. The collection, use, security, and processing of your personal and financial information (such as credit card details) during the registration process are governed exclusively by the RunSignUp Privacy Policy. We do not store or host financial transaction data on our Site.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

5. DO NOT TRACK (DNT) SIGNALS

Our Site is intended for a general audience. However, parents or legal guardians may register minors for our running events (such as the 10K or 5K) through our third-party registration platform (RunSignUp).

In compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain personal information directly from children under the age of 13 on this Site without verifiable parental consent. If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected on the Site without parental consent, we will take immediate steps to delete that information from our records.
